Exciting Updates to the FentonFAN.com QVC Database!

In 2022, the FentonFAN.com QVC Database underwent a major transformation with its first program coding update in decades. Initially, the most cost-effective solution was to integrate a website shopping cart platform instead of a dedicated database platform.

We are thrilled to announce that, over the past year, we have been diligently working on another significant update. Our team has been focused on migrating the FentonFAN.com QVC Database to a brand-new, state-of-the-art database platform. The great news is that we are now in the final stages of this extensive update and are excited to roll out the enhanced QVC Database within the next few months! This upgrade is expected to bring substantial improvements and provide a more robust and user-friendly experience for all our users.

FentonFan.com catalog selection is growing!

 We've finished uploading our Fenton Art Glass catalogs from 2000 to the last catalog from 2011. The last catalog was to be published in late 2011 by Fenton Art Glass but the products were never produced. Reviewing the catalog, we think it offered some of the best pieces to come out of the Fenton design department in years. They reflect an updated style while maintaining the classic Fenton feel and look. For a look at what could have been, browse the 2011 Second Half Catalog from our Fenton Catalog section.

Fenton Limited Edition Figurines take the main stage in this week’s Fenton Gift Shop newsletter

 The Fenton Gift Shop newsletter for March 17th, 2022 features two new limited edition Fenton Art Glass figurines. Michelle Kibbe’s design on the mouse figurine is titled Strawberry Season. The design includes strawberry blossoms on an air brushed light brown background. The second limited edition figurine is a fox and features a wonderful sunflower design. The Robin’s Egg Blue glass fox figurine is sure to be a popular piece. Kim Barley’s design features two sunflowers and is titled Sunflower Delight. The deadline for preorders is Monday 21st by midnight. The newsletter also includes one of a kind (OOAK) pieces for auction on eBay this week. As always, these OOAK pieces are dated and signed by the designer.

Fenton Collectibles 25th Anniversary Bash - 04/29 thru 05/01

 We try to monitor the many Facebook groups for post of interest for FentonFans. One such event that might be of interest is Fenton Collectibles 25th Anniversary Bash. If you’re a collector of Fenton Art Glass, you already know Ann Fenton. On April 29th through May 1st, FentonFans can watch glass blowing up close. The Anniversary Bash will include 45 vendors who are sure to have some interesting Fenton Art Glass pieces. Visit the Fenton Collectibles website for more information.

 

We’re loving the Cherry Blossom Chickadee Paperweight in this week’s Fenton Limited Edition Offering !!

In case you’re new to Fenton Art Glass; when the factory stopped production, the Fenton Gift Shopp maintained numerous Fenton Art Glass mounds. Today, the Fenton Gift Shop uses those mounds to create new numbered limited edition pieces. The mounds are used by Mosser Glass to create blanks which are painted at the Fenton Gift Shop. FentonFan.com Testers Needed!

The final touches are being put on the redesigned website and app for FentonFan.com! The website goes live first and the companion app will follow later. We’ll need to test the website features for possible issues. We’ll turn to our email newsletter subscribers as our primary testers. We’ll be looking for flaws in feature designs and usefulness.
